Single-phase electrical systems, commonly used in homes and corporate workplaces, are 220 volt AC systems. Electricity generated as 3-phase in power plants is distributed to residences via the grid. Typically, 3-phase electricity and a neutral line reach the building entrance. To ensure equal load distribution, the three phases are divided among apartments and offices. A neutral line is drawn alongside one phase entering an apartment to supply electricity to the apartment, office, or workplace. In 3-phase electricity, there is a 380v AC voltage difference between phases, and a 220v AC voltage difference between each phase and neutral. Therefore, 220v AC is used in household electricity due to the voltage difference between one phase and neutral. It is very important to use protective devices such as fuses, residual current devices, and surge protectors where necessary to safeguard the electrical system.

Usually, three-phase electricity and a neutral line reach up to the building entrance. At the building entrance, the three-phase lines are distributed among apartments and offices for equal load sharing. Alongside a phase line entering the apartment, a neutral line is also connected to supply electricity to the apartment, office, or workplace. In three-phase electricity, there is a 380v AC voltage between phases, while the voltage difference between each phase and neutral is 220v AC. This is why 220v AC is used in household electricity, due to the voltage difference between a phase and neutral. Systems that use direct three-phase electricity are large motors, heaters, and other industrial and factory-type workplaces. Although a neutral line exists in three-phase systems, it is only used where 220v AC is needed. As voltage increases, the risk to human health also increases; therefore, necessary protective equipment must be used and caution exercised when working with three-phase systems that have higher voltages than household electricity. It is very important to use protective devices such as fuses, residual current devices, and surge protectors where necessary to safeguard the electrical system.

This training set consists of 8 separate units. All of these units can be included in the set, or different selections can be made according to the need. The control elements in the units are mounted on a 4-5 mm thick insulated panel. Since the control panel is mounted to fit onto a cart, it can be detached in a few seconds. To prevent dust from entering the panel, three sides are covered with insulated material. 4 mm terminal blocks are used on the panel; thus, all electrical connections are made with 4 mm jack cables. Insulated type sockets and cables can be used depending on user preferences.

1. The training set consists of mechanical operations combining a conveyor belt, a geared three-phase asynchronous motor, and a control unit.2. Description and functions of the asynchronous motor conveyor belt training set units;a) Conveyor Belt Unit: A mechanical unit capable of transporting workpieces to the designated location.b) Geared Three-Phase Asynchronous Motor: A three-phase power transmission element with at least 0.09 KW power, capable of rotating at 90 revolutions in 90 minutes without lubrication, able to drive the conveyor.3. The asynchronous motor conveyor belt training set has been adapted according to the following items;1) Stainless chrome sheet and aluminum have been used instead of unpainted paint in the mechanical structure,2) The cutting of the chrome sheets used was done by laser cutting or similar methods that do not damage the shape or create burrs,3) For occupational safety, there are no sharp edges on all mechanical parts. Chamfers have been applied where necessary. A minimum radius of R2 mm was used for rounding. (Subject to preference.)4) All bolts, screws, nuts, washers, and other fasteners in the training set are made of stainless materials.5) The training set is mounted on a channelled, anodized aluminum frame with minimum dimensions of 700x360 mm. It is assembled without using any additional apparatus.6) The training set panel is made from materials resistant to water, acid, outdoor conditions, and non-harmful to health. All markings on the panel are laser-engraved to prevent erasure or fading.7) There are 2 limit switches on the conveyor belt training set. The contacts of the limit switches are extended to terminal blocks on the limit switch itself.8) A DIN 7.5 x 15 rail is installed on the asynchronous motor conveyor belt training set to allow attachment of different devices. Stoppers are installed at both ends of the rail.9) The conveyor and geared three-phase asynchronous motor unit feature the following technical specifications;• Conveyor belt drive roller is made of steel,• Drive roller outer diameter is 30mm,• Both ends of the drive roller have approximately 25mm deep and 8mm diameter holes, which are reamed,• Two M5 threads are cut at 180-degree angles on each end of the drive roller,• One end of the drive roller has a minimum diameter of 14mm, the other end 17mm,• Drive roller bearings are made of aluminum to prevent rust,• The drive roller is mounted on aluminum bearings,• M5 threaded holes are cut on the aluminum bearing for attaching sensors, limit switches, and similar devices,• Flange holes are processed on the aluminum bearing for mounting a stepper motor,• Flange holes have M4 threads,• There is no imbalance between the reducer shaft and the conveyor drive roller. Both the drive roller and aluminum bearing are precisely machined,• The reducer shaft is directly coupled to the conveyor drive roller without any coupling or similar connection elements,• The reducer can be easily removed and reinstalled from its mounting location,• Conveyor belt width is 88mm,• Conveyor belt thickness is a maximum of 2mm,• Conveyor belt color is black,• Conveyor belt has a waffle pattern and is capable of eliminating electrostatic effects,• Conveyor belt drive roller is made from deep material and is white in color,• Conveyor tension roller outer diameter is at least 32mm,• Conveyor tension roller bearings are made of aluminum,• No commercially available or specially designed tensioning device suitable for the system is used for belt tensioning,• The tensioning device is integrated with the drive roller bearing,• Conveyor belt length is 650-700 mm,• Channels exist on both side surfaces of the conveyor belt for attaching sensors, cylinders, or other devices,• Adjustable limit switches are located at both ends of the conveyor belt,• The position of the limit switches can be adjusted within a range of 0 - 50mm on the mounted chrome sheet,• The conveyor belt unit is joined to the base plate using surface joining techniques,• Reducer output speed is 90 rpm,• Three-phase asynchronous motor minimum power is 0.09 KW,• The reducer is directly connected to the conveyor via the drive roller.10.
