WATER COOLING TOWER TRAINING SET
WATER COOLING TOWER TRAINING SET

The cooling tower training set is a closed-loop cooling and heat dissipation method. The indirect or closed-type cooling tower does not come into direct contact with air, and the liquid, usually water or a glycol mixture, is cooled. The indirect cooling tower has two separate liquid circuits. The first is an external circuit circulating on the outside of the second circuit, which consists of tube bundles connected to the process for cooling the water and circulating it in a closed loop. Air is drawn through the water circulating in steps outside the hot tubes, providing evaporative cooling similar to an open cooling tower. With our training set, you can examine the main components and operating principles of the cooling tower.

The training set is suitable for practical education on the refrigerator system structure, operation and theory observation, fault detection and troubleshooting, and recognition of circuit components. All components used in the training set are identical to the models used in industry and daily life and can also be utilized in the industrial sector.

ABSORPTION COOLING TRAINING SET
ABSORPTION COOLING TRAINING SET

Cooling systems utilize the fact that a refrigerant evaporates at low pressure. In absorption cooling systems, the absorption of ammonia in water creates this low pressure. The absorption process is driven by thermal energy from sources such as industrial waste heat or solar collectors to operate these systems. An experimental unit demonstrating an ammonia-water solution where ammonia acts as the refrigerant. Liquid ammonia evaporates in the evaporator and absorbs heat from the environment. To maintain low evaporation pressure, ammonia vapor in the absorber is absorbed by water. In the next step, to prevent stopping the absorption process, ammonia is continuously removed from the high concentration ammonia solution. For this purpose, the high concentration ammonia solution is heated in a generator until ammonia re-evaporates. In the final stage, ammonia vapor is cooled down to the base level in the condenser, condenses, and returns to the evaporator. The low concentration ammonia solution flows back to the absorber. Hydrogen is used as an auxiliary gas to maintain pressure differences in the system.

Industrial kitchens require many types of equipment. These include industrial dishwashers, industrial stoves, industrial washing machines, and bain-marie machines. Among these, ice machines are especially important for businesses operating in hot climate regions. In such cases, ice machines come to the aid of businesses in these areas.

CHILLER COOLING TRAINING SET
CHILLER COOLING TRAINING SET

The Chiller Cooling Training Set is designed to demonstrate the working principle of the chiller cooling unit. A chiller is a system known as an injection cooling system that transfers heat from one source to another. Chiller cooling systems, consisting of a compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator, operate by cooling the gas compressed and heated in the compressor within the condenser. Then, the pressure and consequently the temperature of the gas passing through the expansion valve drop, causing it to liquefy. While passing through the evaporator, it absorbs heat from the liquid to be cooled and returns to the compressor as low-pressure gas to be compressed again. This cycle continues in this manner.

INDUSTRIAL TYPE REFRIGERATOR TRAINING SET
INDUSTRIAL TYPE REFRIGERATOR TRAINING SET

The Industrial Refrigerator is used in companies that distribute mass meals and in the medical sector. These refrigerators, which can provide much stronger cooling, usually operate under tough conditions. For example, the door of a household refrigerator is opened and closed a few times a day, whereas the doors of Industrial Refrigerators are opened and closed at least 200 times a day. Another feature of the Industrial Refrigerator is that both the inner and outer bodies, meaning the entire refrigerator, are made of stainless steel. These refrigerators, capable of much stronger cooling, typically work under demanding conditions. For instance, while a household refrigerator door is opened and closed a few times daily, Industrial Refrigerator doors are opened and closed at least 200 times daily. Another characteristic of the Industrial Refrigerator is that its entire body, both inside and outside, is made of stainless steel.

EVAPORATIVE COOLING TRAINING SET
EVAPORATIVE COOLING TRAINING SET

The evaporative air cooler is a type of air conditioning system that cools the air by using the power of vapor. When water evaporates, it changes from liquid to gas. During this process, the water droplets holding the highest energy leave the water first, causing a drop in air temperature. This is also the reason you feel cold when you get out of a pool. As the water droplets on your body evaporate, they reduce your body temperature.

MODULAR COOLING TRAINING SET
MODULAR COOLING TRAINING SET

The modular cooling training set is designed to cover the basics of cooling with simple and clear experiments. The training set includes all the necessary components for a fully functional cooling circuit such as a compressor, condenser, evaporator, and an expansion element like a needle valve. Other components complete the scope of the equipment; a screen and control panel to protect the compressor against overpressure, receiver, pressure switches and pressure gauge, as well as a flow meter and a sight glass with filter/dryer. An air-cooled heat exchanger is available as the condenser. The evaporator is found twice; as an air/refrigerant heat exchanger and a water/refrigerant heat exchanger. This allows for different component combinations. Components are mounted on plates and form ready-to-install modules. Six modules are placed on the frame at any time and connected with hoses and supply cables. The receiver is integrated into the cooling circuit as an independent module. This enables the construction of different simple compression refrigeration systems.

Cooling systems used in supermarkets are typically systems with common piping lines that reach cooling cabinets and counters, where the cooling load is high. In supermarket cooling systems, it is difficult to place separate evaporators and condensers for each product counter requiring medium and low temperatures. In such cases, the cooling system is operated as centralized direct expansion or distributed direct expansion.
